I was super excited to see what Sanae Ishida came up with on our blog tour. And boy did she deliver. Not one, but two Franklin dresses!
I first heard of Sanae through Pinterest where she has a large following and a slew of amazing pictures on her boards. She sews at least one outfit a week for her daughter. Is she lucky or what? Not to mention a few pieces here and there for herself. I love her aesthetic and the classic clothes she makes.
So when I opened up her post this morning and saw two Franklin dresses I was over the moon. She made a gorgeous polka-dot version of the Franklin dress and then a quick-sew adapted tunic. She scrapped the pockets and pleats, shortened the sleeves and the hem, and voila! a fall weekend tunic is born.
We're resting this weekend and then back Monday morning for some more Franklin fun with Justine of Sew Country Chick.
